Djembe workshops allow pupils to learn to respond and react to each other in improvisation and to learn a variety of World percussion rhythms. They are fun, energising and inspirational and encourage creativity and self expression. It is completely inclusive being accessible to people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.

African drumming ensemble playing unites people and is an effective way of reducing stress and gaining relaxation, enjoyment and a sense of achievement as well as improving co-ordination, concentration and motor skills and encouraging creativity and self expression.

No previous skill or experience is needed for this. Jonathan is able to run lunchtime, school time, after work or after school percussion ensembles for groups of pupils, staff or employees of any business.
